Product Owner – Main Reusable stage

This position is open to a 24 month internal mobility 

MaiaSpace is a European space tech company, designing, manufacturing and operating competitive and sustainable solutions for space mobility. Product Owner – Main Reusable stage

Under the management of Chief Product Owner, your responsibilities will include:​

-Lead the development roadmap for reusable first stage and low-cost upper stage:​

• Define and document Key features, performance and functionalities for both products,​
• Establish and update Quarterly objectives and roadmap (ie product backlog) in consistency with the overall product roadmap, clarifies any details regarding the objectives & solutions​
• Maintain permanent interaction with internal customer (Chief Product Officer), future users (Mission & Ops, AIT team) and interfaced products (Avionics, Ground System, Upper Parts)​
• Document the up-to-date product roadmap on a quarterly basis.​
• Anticipate & ensure coordination with external contributors ​
• Non Recurring Cost file update every quarter : bottom up and top down cost at completion​

-Perform Product Owner Agile duties with the development team:​

• Validate development team macro tasks in relation with features and roadmap​
• Hierarchise Team backlog to balance workload vs priorities​
• Anticipate & ensure coordination with other team Product Owners (studies, interactions, …)​
• Prepare Program Increment routines : vision, next Increment features, planning, macro tasks​
• Participate to Agile routines in relation with your duties (daily, iteration planning & review, product owners syncing...)​

-Arbitrate and organise Product iteration review:​

• Assess performances along product iterations: functional performance, MAIT production cost, ecological performance, development cost​
• Manage an up-to-date "as designed" definition release of the product on a quarterly basis (e.g., validate changes with the dev team, elaborate documentation whenever needed)​
• Specify acceptance tests high level objectives for the testing team​
• Validate product iterations acceptance wrt product backlog​
• Participate to the hiring process​

• Customer oriented, easy relationship and communication skills​
• Swift decision making and leadership, even in uncertain situations​
• 10+ years background in rocket engineering, with experience in project management​
• Servant leader experience as manager, team leader, …​
• Agile experience or practicing appreciated
