Internship : Market & Data Analyst

🚀 MaiaSpace is a European space tech company, designing, manufacturing and operating competitive and sustainable solutions for space mobility. Our aim is to successfully design and test a cost-effective and reusable mini-launch vehicle with a maiden flight expected in the coming year.

Internship Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data & Market Analyst Intern to join the Business team. In this hands-on role, you will support data collection, analysis, and market research activities to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions. As part of this team, you will be at the heart of market analyses defining Maia accessible market, monitoring competition and Maia commercial positioning. Within the Business Team and supervised by the responsible for market analyses and business intelligence, you will support the data collection and its organization as well as on-demand strategic analyses. Your tasks will involve:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources (internal databases, surveys, web analytics, and market reports).

• Conduct basic market research, including competitor analysis, trend identification, and customer segmentation.

• Perform data analysis using statistical methods to produce insights.

• Create clear visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Support the team in monitoring market performance and business growth.

• Help with ad-hoc projects, such as survey design, data validation, and forecasting support.

• Contribute to improving data processes and documentation.

🛸 Specific competences & abilities:

• Strong analytical, modelling and synthesis skills ;

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (or Master's) in Data Analytics, Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field involving statistics and market research ;

• Knowledge of the space sector and its applications is a plus ;

• Curious, motivated and proactive ;

• Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI ;

• Comfortable exploiting Aritifical Intelligence (LLMs) and navigating high information influx.

🎓 Qualification:

Master’s student in Data Analytics, or related fields, ideally complemented with an experience in the Space sector.
