Legal & Contract Officer

We are looking for a Legal & Contract Officer to join our Legal, Ethic and Compliance team. As Legal and Contract Officer you will refer to the Head of Legal, Ethic & Compliance.

In this role, you will contribute to two distinct tasks:

Legal :

• Legal and Contract management for Strategic Contracts

• Review and negotiation of the Procurement contracts with support to Procurement and Technical teams

• Review and negotiation of the Launch Service Contracts with support to Business team

• Participation in the profitability and optimization of our contractual commitments

• French “Marchés Publics”

• Competition law

• Export control support

Ethic & Compliance :

• Training teams on ethic & compliance issues and challenges
  
  

• Participate on the company’s compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations

Working in tandem with the MaiaSpace Head of Legal, Ethic & Compliance you will liaise closely with the ArianeGroup legal team.

Qualification

• Master degree in Law
• more than 5 years of professional experience in the field of legal department in space or defence industry.
• Knowledge and experience in contract management
• In-depth in Space Law, Insurance and Public Law

The Legal, Ethics and Compliance team is located in La Défense which houses all the other teams in order to facilitate the communication and efficiency.
