Senior Structure Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail Senior Structure Analysis Engineer to join our Main Stage Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural sizing and analysis of the main stage engine bay to ensure they meet performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and sizing of vehicle metallic primary structure.
  • Utilize classical hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to validate structural integrity.
  • Work closely with design, loads, and manufacturing teams to ensure structural concepts are feasible and optimized.
  • Support trade studies, weight optimization, and material selection for structural components.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for design reviews, testing campaign and regulatory certification.
  • Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development process.


Job requirements

🛸 Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in structural analysis and sizing.
  • Proficiency with analysis tools such as NASTRAN, HyperMesh, ANSYS, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of load paths, material properties (composite and metallic), and fatigue/fracture mechanics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

🎓 Preferred Skills

  • Experience in preliminary or conceptual airframe design.
  • Knowledge of advanced lightweight materials.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.
  • Understanding of launch vehicle systems integration as it pertains to structural design.
