AIT Delivery Engineer
We are looking for an AIT Delivery Engineer to join one of our agile, multi-disciplinary teams responsible for the development of the Upper Stage of the Maia Launch Vehicle. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and execution of the Upper Stage integration sequence in our Factory. Additionally, you will act as a crucial liaison between various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Your tasks will be the following:
Liaison and Communication:
Serve as the focal point between the Method Team, Shopfloor and Upper Stage Team
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts
Ease the E-BOM to M-BOM transition
Preparation of integration sequence:
In coordination with the Team and Shopfloor, prepare the macro schedule of the integration sequence of the Upper Stage perimeter
Build the optimal sequence of operations considering the layout of the stage
Liaise with Industrialization Leader and Procurement Team in order to accelerate the delivery of hardware to perform the integration sequence
Review with Methods Team the assembly procedures
Write stage user manual with the support of the multi-disciplinary Team
Controls and Validation:
Build the Check Out Logic of the stage in collaboration with Methods Team
Define functional controls of the different sub-systems of the stage
Define Key Characteristics necessary to ease the integration
Analyze test results and use them as a lesson learned in order to improve and prepare the next integration sequence
Completion of integration sequence:
Drive the treatment of anomalies and waivers. In particular, provide feedback to the design team on necessary design modifications to avoid further anomalies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and Avionic engineers, to identify and resolve technical issues
Ensure that integration and testing activities comply with quality standards and regulations
Job requirements
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge and experience in project management (planning management, quality management…)
Technical background in launcher integration, and testing appreciated
Proficiency in CAD & PDM software (SolidWorks)
Knowledge and experience in product design (mechanical, electrical, fluidic)
Experience in anomaly resolution will be an asset
Interpersonal Skills:
Delivery oriented (tailored to customer need)
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with different Agile Teams
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Experience in integration environments and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities
🎓 Qualification:
Experience: more than 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering or a related field
Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
English level sufficient to read and write technical documentation, to perform oral technical presentation and to interact on technical topics
